Derek Brandwood, a record promoter I met whilst in the band Kicks back in the early 80’s asked me to write an intro/outro theme for a project he was working on at Vectar TV. I mixed it with Paul Harrison, a fabulous audio engineer. I never got a copy of the final production mix, this version being purely a compositional monitor mix, but it’s pretty representative of the finished piece.

Derek introduced me to some interesting work over the years. A very sociable man and very well connected in the business. Sadly no longer with us. 

I always remember one of his quips…
“It’s nice to be important, but it’s important to be nice”.
