Record promoter Derek Brandwood kept in touch with me after his involvement with Kicks. He liked one of our songs “Only Strangers Are Killed” and organised for us to mix it at Strawberry-2 Studios, Stockport. Martin Lawrence sat in while we mixed it.
No pressure then!
Steve Bingham assembled a collage video for us, but the track failed to be picked up by the companies at the time. Great days though.
